This research was an attempt to make a constructivists' approach to the intelligence and its information processing of the humans for the scientific and technological foundation. It includes an application to functional simulation of the human information, which eventually opens the way to natural communication between the human and the humanoid robot.

The outcomes of this research are not only technical publications, but also nine patents filed in Japan and their applications in foreign nations. The developed software for the measurements and computations of the humans is also an important intellectual property. A portion of the software for dynamics computation was integrated into a humanoid robot simulator and has been used by approximately 300 researchers worldwide. The kinematic motion generation algorithm was also adopted in the software that supports animators in the film and game industries for higher productivity. The musculoskeletal model and its dynamics computation will find direct applications in medicine. Also developed are sensors and electronics circuit boards for the humanoid robot.

We will continue and extend the research with the current momentum which we have earned through five years of the project. It would be our pleasure if the current and future results of research can find various fields of contribution in our society.
